Haiti Relief Fund
**UPDATE**: Pastor Park and his team returned from Port-au-Prince at the end of January. They were able to conduct a medical clinic for people in the neighborhood as well as deliver aid collected by the church. Some of the children and parents suffered from cuts, bruises and other injuries caused by the earthquake. Overall, however, Elsie Lherisson and the children are doing well. Most of them have lost everything so the ministry is doing its part to help these families. In addition, they are cooking food for about 400 people every day. The ministry house itself suffered some damage, but no visible structural damage so the ministry is still able to utilize the building. Elsie, some staff and families continue to sleep in tents on the ministry grounds.
Bonite Affriany returned to Jacmel and has also been running her food program daily to anyone that comes to the ministry. The situation in Jacmel is very severe as many people in the ministry had not eaten in days prior to Bonite’s return. Three people in her ministry died in the earthquake. A 4 family house that Bonite’s ministry built for some of the poorest families of her ministry collapsed and the families are living on the ministry grounds.
Please keep both ministries and all of Haiti in your prayers.
Your gifts to the Haiti Relief Fund will be appreciated and used exclusively to feed children and to rebuild the ministries in both Port-au-Prince and Jacmel.

About BT Missions
The Missions Ministry serves to support our missionaries through prayer, short-term mission trips, encouragement, various support projects and logistical support. We maintain a list of Missions prayer requests and we commit to pray for all of these requests regularly until the requests are answered. These requests are for missionaries from our church and for missionaries that are not from our church, but are laboring faithfully for the kingdom, for different countries from all over the world, for the persecuted church and many more.
The Missions Ministry also serves to educate and challenge the church about missions, the Persecuted church and how we can better pray for the nations. This is primarily done through the creation of Short Mission Videos that we show during our Tuesday Night Prayer Meetings and on selected Sunday services. These are 6-10 minute videos that we create and edit from either our own footage or footage from various mission or news organizations.
The Ministry works on various projects that are designed to help our missionaries with their work. Examples of these would be our regular food and medicine collections that we take for our missionaries throughout the world. We also have organized teams within the Ministry to work in specialized areas such as the Medical Mission Team and the Arts & Crafts Team. The Medical Mission Team is a group of Medical personnel that travel around the world conducting medical clinics in some of the poorest areas of the world. The Arts & Crafts Team creates a program of Bible Lessons, Arts & Crafts Activities, Puppet Shows and Bible Festivals for children, that our Mission Teams use and adapt for various short-term mission trips.
