Adult Education

The mission of the adult education program is to empower and transform lives, one at a time, through education in the context of community. The aim is to help students achieve their personal and professional goals through the Downtown Learning Center (DLC) Adult Education Program. Through the leading of the Holy Spirit our desire is to draw believers closer to Him and non believers into a relationship with Christ. The DLC Adult Education Program consists of two educational branches: Adult Basic Education and Life Skills Training. Adult Basic Education consists of courses ranging from Basic Reading and Writing, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) to GED and College Preparation Classes. Life Skills Training Courses are designed to equip participants with skills to compete in today’s marketplace. 

King’s Kids Ministry

Ministers to hurting children ages 6 – 12.

Missions Ministry

This ministry fulfills the Great Commission by supporting and helping missionaries, and sending mission teams to churches in other countries.

New Hope Ministry

Reaches the unsaved and underprivileged in NYC shelters with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Hosts regular meetings at shelters for men and women.

Prison Ministry

An evangelistic ministry for those who desire to minister to the men, women and families affected by incarceration.
