Extending the Ability of the Missionary
Short term mission work involves coming alongside ministries around the world to help and assist them in their ministry in whatever capacity is needed. In past trips, we have conducted medical clinics, Business as Ministry (BAM) seminars, English as Second Language (ESL) camps, street outreaches, food programs, delivered food care packages, construction projects, taught Bible and Sunday school classes, conducted Vacation Bible School (VBS) and youth programs, prison outreaches, home outreaches to church members, ministered to the Persecuted Church and engaged in personal evangelism and discipleship.
Medical & Dental Professionals
Our international Medical and Dental clinics have been one of our most effective ways of sharing the Love of Jesus to people both practically and spiritually. We’ve treated tens of thousands of patients all around the world for many years.
On a yearly basis, we have new medical/dental mission trips scheduled, but we are in need particularly of physicians, nurse practitioners and dentists to help. In the fall of every year, mandatory trip information and training sessions are held for the trips that take place the following year, e.g. trip information and training sessions in the fall of 2015 for 2016 trips. All prospective candidates must attend either the new candidates session or the trip veterans session. The training sessions are based on the candidate’s status as follows:
- Trip Veterans: You have attended a trip in the past 2 years
- Everyone else: You have never attended a trip with us or your previous trip was more than 2 years ago
Make up information and training sessions are held in the beginning of the year for those who missed the fall trainings.
