As believers, we are reminded of Jesus’ words: “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”

(Matthew 25:40)

Throughout the year, The Brooklyn Tabernacle supports the local community through ministries such as the New Hope Outreach Ministry. Members of New Hope share the good news of Jesus, as they reach out in love to support and encourage men and women who are in need in local facilities or living on the streets of NYC. Due to the current coronavirus restrictions, we would like to provide support in different ways at this time.

One of the ways we are looking to reach out during this difficult time is through a special outreach we introduced last year, called “A Gift for Christmas.” New Hope is organizing a collection of hats, gloves, scarves and socks for men and women. Would you help us? With the purchase and donation of one or more of the items listed, you can provide desperately needed essentials to men and women hit hardest by the health crisis.

You may order items directly online using the Amazon Registry linked below. Those of you who can do only in-person drop-offs may do so beginning on Sunday, November 28th—as you enter the church building for our 9am or 12pm worship service— through Friday, December 3rd.  Weekday drop-offs can be made between the hours of 9am–8pm.

Thank you in advance. We appreciate your support!
