Multi-day Event
Location:

After so many years of sharing the message of Christ through music, The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir is excited to announce its first ever Music Celebration at Sea! The same Choir that won six Grammy Awards and sang in various venues around the world is inviting you to join them, along with Pastor Jim and Carol Cymbala, for a 5-night cruise to Bermuda. The more than 200 voices directed by Carol Cymbala will be joined by worship leader Travis Cottrell and renowned gospel artist Taranda Greene, as they celebrate the good news of Jesus in unforgettable concerts.

The magnificent ship we are sailing on is the Norwegian Encore, which features delicious dining options, the largest open-air laser tag at sea, a water park, and much more! The cruise will also provide time to meet and have fellowship with members of the Choir.

The schedule includes concerts, a special Night of Prayer with the Choir, morning Bible devotions with Pastor Cymbala, and a Sunday morning worship service. In addition to spending two luxurious days at sea, you will be able to explore the stunning island of Bermuda, where there is so much more to see and do.

It is our prayer that this will be a time of refreshing and renewal for everyone who joins us for The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir’s Music Celebration at Sea.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Sincerely,

The Brooklyn Tabernacle Music Ministry

Travis Cottrell
A Dove Award-winning songwriter and performer, Travis Cottrell is best known for his solo albums including 2016’s All That is Within Me, as well as for his ministry leading worship across the United States with Beth Moore’s Living Proof Live conferences. A prolific singer and songwriter, he has written songs and provided background vocals for artists as diverse as Amy Grant, Garth Brooks, Larnelle Harris, Don Moen, and Mercy Me. In 2013, his alma mater, Belmont University, awarded Travis its prestigious Encore Award, given to a School of Music alumni for achieving excellence. When he’s not touring, Travis serves as Worship Pastor at Englewood Baptist Church in Jackson, Tennessee.

TaRanda Greene
A popular Gaither Homecoming mainstay and featured soloist with the famed Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, TaRanda Greene is known for her God-given musical talent and anointed spirit. From performances at the United Nations to her six solo albums, she has built a worldwide following. But there’s more to TaRanda than her voice. In 2010, her husband of nine years, Tony Greene, passed away from complications related to kidney disease. “Tony was my biggest encourager,” TaRanda shares. “Saying goodbye has been the hardest thing I have ever had to face.” She trusted God to carry her through that uncertainty and heartbreak, and today continues to share her powerful testimony and voice. TaRanda has joined Jody McBrayer and Doug Anderson as a founding member of the trio Cana’s Voice.

While some cruise lines may have a reputation for rigid dress codes and opulence, Norwegian Cruise Line has changed the cruise industry with a luxurious fleet with a relaxed vibe. That’s especially true on the brand-new Encore, which began sailing Bermuda and The Caribbean in the fall of 2019. The well-known “freestyle” atmosphere of NCL allows cruisers to choose from a broad selection of dining and entertainment options. And while the ship’s overall experience may be laid-back, its known impeccable service remains. The lavish Encore maintains a ratio of one staff member for every two or three passengers. It is the perfect setting for a spiritual getaway filled with worship, fellowship and unforgettable moments with God.
