Go Christmas!
December 15th — 22nd, 2018
  • 17 Smith Street, Main Sanctuary

Following up on the great response we have had to our Go Saturday! community outreaches this year, The Brooklyn Tabernacle is now planning a Go Christmas! outreach that will include every church member who wants to participate during this holiday season. We will be inviting folks to our Christmas in the City presentations, and there are ways for everyone to participate, starting November 25, through December 22. Don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity for some good fellowship as we continue to carry out the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ to share the good news with all people everywhere!

Saturday Outreach Teams
Participants will give out event tickets and place door hanger invitations in various Brooklyn*, Times Square, or Union Square locations for 2 hours, from 1pm to 3pm, on one or more Saturday outreach dates:  December 15 or December 22.  Sign-up required.
*Brooklyn Locations:  Barclay Center, Bay Ridge, Bedford Stuyvesant, Bensonhurst, Brownsville, Bushwick, Crown Heights, Downtown Brooklyn, East Flatbush, East New York, Fort Greene Community, Flatbush, Gowanus Houses, Kensington, Kings Plaza, Park Slope, Prospect Park, Sunset Park, Williamsburg, Wyckoff Houses

Round-the-Clock Outreach Teams
These are smaller groups who agree to work at least 1 hour to give out event tickets to passersby in Downtown Brooklyn, Times Square or Union Square. The time slots vary from 11am to 8pm—on December 15, and from December 17 to December 22.  Sign-up required.

To join any of the Go Christmas! outreach teams, you must be a member of The Brooklyn Tabernacle. Registration is also required. You may register by clicking the registration links below.
Round-the-Clock Outreach Teams

Invite at least one person to any of the (8) Christmas presentations, using the following resources:

A. Free admission event tickets for the Christmas presentations will be distributed to congregants at the end of each Sunday worship service and Tuesday Night Prayer Meeting, starting on December 2, so that congregants can hand out these invitations in the neighborhoods where they live and work.

B. Business card-size invitations will also be made available at the Smith Street and Fulton Street lobbies after church services, so that congregants can hand these out to friends and family.

C. Postcard invitations will be available at the end of Sunday services on December 2 and December 9; and after the Tuesday Night Prayer Meeting on December 4. Congregants are encouraged to mail these postcards to people they know as a personal invitation to any of our Christmas shows.

D. Posters will be made available, while supplies last, beginning on November 25, to any church member who signs up to receive at least three Christmas in the City posters that they can place anywhere in their neighborhood, providing they have permission to do so. Posters will be made available only to those who use the link below. Registrants will be told where to pick up their posters.
