The question of when we will be gathering together again has been the subject of much prayer and discussion by our church’s leadership. We are asking God for wisdom as we attempt to follow the guidelines of New York State and New York City regarding the timing for reopening our church campus. At the same time, we are making plans and putting protocols in place to ensure your safety and well-being when we are able to meet again. Who Are We?

We endeavor to serve the body of Christ through the preparation of the elements of communion.

Eligibility to Volunteer

In order to serve in this ministry, you must be a member of the Brooklyn Tabernacle or in the process of becoming a member.

Activities & Functions

Activities include: preparation of the elements of communion, set-up designated distribution areas and cleaning and storage of utensils used.

Frequency of Service

Communion is scheduled once a month, either Sunday (9 a.m. & 12 p.m. services) or during the Tuesday night prayer meeting. Both days require preparation the prior evening.

Length of Commitment

All Communion Ministry volunteers are asked to make a one-year commitment to the ministry.
