The question of when we will be gathering together again has been the subject of much prayer and discussion by our church’s leadership. We are asking God for wisdom as we attempt to follow the guidelines of New York State and New York City regarding the timing for reopening our church campus. At the same time, we are making plans and putting protocols in place to ensure your safety and well-being when we are able to meet again. Stay tuned for updates as more information becomes available.

In the meantime, we hope that you will continue to join us for Tuesday Prayer Onlinebeginning at 7pm; Sunday Worship Online, beginning at 9am; and weekday Devotions Onlinebeginning at 10am. We also invite you to check the Churchwide Announcements on our home page to learn about additional online events for each member of your family.

Who Are We?

The Brooklyn Tabernacle ALL IN Men's Ministry is a community of men submitted and committed to following the example of Jesus Christ. We seek to glorify and serve God by building character, serving the community, and reproducing the life of Jesus in the lives of others.

Ministry Information

ALL IN Men's Small Groups

Men who desire to grow deeper in the knowledge of the Word of God and develop Christ-centered relationships with other men participate in Biblical Manhood training groups for six consecutive Thursday nights. Sign-up is required, and space is limited.

Community Outreach

We partner with various nonprofit organizations (e.g., Habitat for Humanity, Bowery Mission, etc.) to impact the community for Christ as we serve. We also go out with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Evangelism Street Team to share the Gospel throughout the city.

Eligibility to Volunteer

In order to serve in this ministry, you must be a member of The Brooklyn Tabernacle or in the process of becoming a member.

Activities & Functions

The All IN Men’s Ministry Volunteer Pool is designed to serve other ministries in the church, as  needs arise. The requirements to join are as follows:

  • Applicant has completed at least 2 Biblical Manhood Series or is in the process of doing so.
  • Applicant must complete our Membership Survey.
  • Applicant needs to have a face-to-face with one of our assigned leaders.
  • Applicant must commit to serving monthly for one year in our ALL IN Volunteer Pool.

Frequency of Service

Volunteers are required to serve once a month in our ALL IN Volunteer Pool, attend our Biblical Manhood training group sessions, and be present at our quarterly Man Cave meetings.

Length of Commitment

All Men’s Ministry volunteers are asked to make a one-year commitment to the ministry.

As believers, we are reminded of Jesus’ words: ““Whatever you did for the least of these brothers… of mine, you did for me.” (Matthew 25:40)

Throughout the year, The Brooklyn Tabernacle supports the local community through ministries such as the New Hope Outreach Ministry. Members of New Hope share the Good News, as they reach out in love to support and encourage men in need in local facilities. Due to the current restrictions on group gatherings, we would like to provide support in different ways at this time.

One of the ways we are looking to reach out during this difficult time is through a Men’s Clothing Drive. Would you help us? With the purchase and donation of one or more of the items listed below, you can provide desperately needed essentials to men hit hardest by the health crisis. You may order items directly online using the Amazon Wishlist/Registry below or reference the list to purchase the item(s) on your own. Please note that if you opt to purchase the item(s) on your own, you will need to email us at AND in order to make arrangements ahead of time to drop off your items at the church.

2 Ways to Help:

Amazon Wishlist/Registry:

Please have all items mailed directly to the church at the following address:

  • Company: The Brooklyn Tabernacle
  • Address: 17 Smith St., Brooklyn, NY 11201

The deadline to submit Amazon orders is Monday, July 20th, 2020

Church Drop-Off:

We encourage you to order through Amazon in order to eliminate traffic to the church for drop-offs. However, if you are not familiar with ordering on Amazon or are otherwise unable to purchase through Amazon, you may reference the Amazon link to see the items that are needed, so that you can purchase them on your own and then drop them off at the church. Please note the following schedule for drop-offs:

Drop-offs can take place Monday – Friday, from 8 am – 8 pm, through Friday, July 24th. Since the doors to our church building remain locked, we ask that you kindly ring the doorbell to the right of the entrance at 17 Smith Street or call the front desk at 718-290-2228 for entry. Please let the front desk know that you are dropping off items for New Hope.

Please feel free to give us a call at 718-290-2059 if you would like additional information.

Thank you in advance. We appreciate your support!
