The question of when we will be gathering together again has been the subject of much prayer and discussion by our church’s leadership. We are asking God for wisdom as we attempt to follow the guidelines of New York State and New York City regarding the timing for reopening our church campus. At the same time, we are making plans and putting protocols in place to ensure your safety and well-being when we are able to meet again. Stay tuned for updates as more information becomes available.

In the meantime, we hope that you will continue to join us for Tuesday Prayer Onlinebeginning at 7pm; Sunday Worship Online, beginning at 9am; and weekday Devotions Onlinebeginning at 10am. We also invite you to check the Churchwide Announcements on our home page to learn about additional online events for each member of your family.

India
Patricia moved to India to train and disciple Indian students in reaching out to India’s large concentration of international students.

Patricia became a believer in Jesus in college through a campus ministry at her university. After graduation, she moved to New York City and worked in the advertising and educational sectors. While she enjoyed teaching, Patricia realized that she was most passionate about teaching others about Christ.  After praying and discerning God’s will, she began working full-time for a Christian campus ministry where she ministered to international university students.  She also served at The Brooklyn Tabernacle in BT Kids, Prayer Band, Transitions (Young Adult Ministry) and Missions Ministry.

During this time, Patricia’s heart for the unreached people groups in the 10/40 window, and specifically India, began to grow.  During a Tuesday night prayer for a mission team in 2007, she felt the Lord speaking to her that she would become a full-time overseas ministry worker.  She initially went to India on a Brooklyn Tabernacle Medical Mission team in 2009 and has since then spent several years in India working with a college ministry there.  Patricia is training Indian students and ministry workers to reach out to the large concentration of international students.
