Dear friends,
I am excited to announce a change in our 2024 schedule here at the Brooklyn Tabernacle. Originally we had planned to host a Fan the Flame Conference 2, from April 19 to 21, as a follow up to what we did in 2023. Just recently, however, I felt the Lord speak to me about changing course. The Brooklyn Tabernacle leadership has concurred, so we want to invite you instead to a global prayer conference for revival.
The condition of the world around us is beyond anything we have seen before. The spiritual condition of our churches has to change if we are going to make a difference as salt and light. As both individual believers and leaders, we need God to revive us.
This prayer conference will have some unique features:
- The conference will begin on Friday, April 19, at 7:00 p.m., with a mass prayer meeting asking God for personal revival in each of our lives and also a spiritual awakening in the local churches we represent. We will have praise and worship and a brief exhortation, but the primary aim will be for us to cry out to God for help.
- We will meet again on Saturday, April 20, at 11:00 a.m., for another prayer summit to ask God to send fresh wind and fresh fire on our personal ministries, whether as leaders or lay people. The Brooklyn Tabernacle pastoral staff will help me lay hands on every participant. We will continue the meeting as long as people are able to stay and pray.
- Also, everyone will be invited to attend the Brooklyn Tabernacle’s 9:00 a.m. and/or 12:00 p.m. church service on Sunday, April 21.
Pastors, lay people, and church groups will be welcome. We are asking God to make this conference a full weekend of meeting Him in a deeper way. If you are hungry for God and have faith in the power of the Holy Spirit, please join us!
There will be no registration fee for this event, but if you plan to join us from out of town, we would like to know that you are coming. If you live outside the New York City metro area and will be traveling to pray with us, please register here.
All historical revivals have begun with a strong element of lay people along with pastors asking God to open the heavens and come down upon His people. Let’s do as believers in the past have done and expect God to move among His people. Hope to see you in person this April.
