Pastor James C. Powell has been attending the Brooklyn Tabernacle his whole life and has had the opportunity to serve in various ministries throughout the church. He currently serves as pastor over the Access-A-Ride Ministry, the Information and Reception Ministry, and the Brooklyn Tabernacle Youth Ministry (BTYM). James has a heart to connect with and disciple teens in New York City and around the world. With a master’s degree in social work, he is attentive to the needs of both teens and parents. He is passionate about discipleship and meeting young people where they are. As a leader, he points teens to Jesus and encourages them to see that God can use them right now.
