Pastor Monique Edwards

Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Pastor Monique became a Christian at the age of fifteen. Although she regularly attended church and participated in church activities, Monique spent most of her teenage and young adult years frustrated, disappointed and embarrassed because she wasn’t growing spiritually. After joining a Spirit-filled church that focused on prayer and the practical application of God’s Word, she decided to get serious about her relationship with Christ. Monique’s personal spiritual journey heavily influences her pastoring and preaching today. After nearly two decades of practicing corporate law, today her focus is sharing the truth of God’s Word. In John 6:63, Jesus said, “The Spirit alone gives eternal life. Human effort accomplishes nothing. And the very words I have spoken to you are spirit and life.” Pastor Monique’s heart is to see people’s lives transformed by the spirit and life found in God’s Word. When she’s not pastoring or preaching, Monique stays busy being a wife to Pastor Lennon Edwards, Esq. and nurturing their two children, Brooklynn and Judah
