Dominican Republic Youth Ministry/Sports Camp | August 2024

• Description: The Dominican Republic is a predominantly Catholic country with over 10 million souls. The nation is still developing, however it has an extensive tourist industry. Over the past decade, the country has experienced sustained economic growth and stability – but inequalities persist as poverty affects nearly a quarter of the population. Although much of the population identify as Christians, the vast majority are nominal.

Our trip goals are to provide: 1) Children/Youth Ministry, 2) Men/Women Ministry, 3) Sports Camp, 4) Arts and Music Camp and 5) Business As Ministry. We are especially in need of Children/Youth Ministry workers and athletes as well as coaches with an emphasis on baseball, soccer and basketball. We are also in need of business professionals that are comfortable presenting business courses.
