NEXT STEPS

STUDY

“Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.”

Psalm 119:105

The Bible is God’s Word, and it is full of promises for every Christian. To grow in your relationship with Jesus, you need to read it every day. As you meditate on God’s promises, you will get stronger in your faith, just as we get stronger physically when our bodies take in the physical nourishment we need. We suggest that you begin with the book of John in the New Testament, which talks about the life of Jesus and his love for us.

PRAY

“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”

Jeremiah 33:3

Now that you are a child of God, he wants to spend time with you. You do this in prayer, talking with God as you would with a friend—sharing with him your needs, your desires, your problems, and the questions you may have about your life and the lives of your loved ones.  The Lord is never too busy to hear from us. On the contrary, in his Word, he invites us to call on him, promising that he will hear and answer us.

CONNECT

“And let us not neglect our meeting together… but encourage one another…”

Hebrews 10:25

Now that you are part of God’s family, it is important that you connect with other believers in Jesus for support and encouragement. As you pray, ask God to lead you to a Bible-believing church where you can be encouraged and where God can use you to help others. We invite you to visit our website, where you can tune in to our online worship services & devotionals. These resources will help you to stay connected and to grow in your walk with Jesus.
